Armed with her nine instrumental conspirators, known as “The Storytellers”, composer Shannon Graham will reveal the diary of her life through this debut record, which features compositions that are equal parts ironic and hopeful, beautiful and heart-breaking. Alienation, freedom, fear, joy, depression, humor, and a “twenty-something” girl’s search for meaning, are distilled into intelligently crafted pieces of music that form a type of “narrative composition” new to the jazz and creative music scene.
